The standard Integrated Development Environment (IDE) usually consists of little more than a project browser, a place to code and a few other features tacked on. It’s been a long time since anyone has really done anything different in the field, but there’s a KickStarter project called “Light Table” by Chris Granger that’s looking to change all that. It’s a bit under 65% funded with 35 days to go so there’s a fair chance it might see the light of day. Attempting to describe all of its awesomeness would take more time than I’ve got right now, but thankfully Mr. Granger has already made a handy video that says it better than I ever could.
